At Mario Topete Tree Care (MTTC), we're more than just a tree business—we're family.
As a small, family-owned & operating company we pride ourselves on providing every client with
the same level of personalized attention & professional tree care knowledge.
With over 25 years of hands on experience in the arboricultural industry,
our President & CEO, Mario Topete, founded MTTC with one simple goal in mind:
deliver top-quality tree care services with integrity & heart.

Mario’s passion for tree care took root over two decades ago.
As an immigrant who arrived in the U.S. with limited English, he got his start in the arboricultural
industry in the early ’90s as a humble groundsman. Over time, his determination—& genuine
love for the craft—gave him the motivational push to want to grow his skills. He learned to how to intricately prune trees & eventually gained enough confidence to take on those ten-foot plus climbs!
He often jokes about how he misses climbing every day & hanging out in nature—
“It’s a lot quieter up there.. just me, the birds & a killer view.
Plus, it kept me in top shape! There was No need to gym after work!" he says with a chuckle.
As his English improved, so did his ability to connect with clients,
eventually earning him the role of lead sales supervisor at a well-respected tree care company.
But after 20 years of hard work & growth, Mario knew it was time to branch out on his own
& did in late 2019—as the world was about to change with the onset of the COVID pandemic.
From the beginning, MTTC has been a true family affair:
— Jae —
Jae, Mario’s eldest son, has been with MTTC since day one. As CFO & Office Manager,
he plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Handling everything from client communications & scheduling, to financial oversight
& managing all our online platforms. With a degree in Business Administration,
Jae helped bring MTTC into the digital age by creating our company's
website & setting up its new invoicing & payment systems.
Outside the office, Jae is a self-proclaimed murder mysteries & historical
documentaries aficionado. Beyond the screen he's a dedicated high school soccer coach—
proudly leading & mentoring student-athletes for over a decade.
When he’s not on the soccer field, you’ll likely find him unwinding at home with his two beloved cats,
enjoying some well-earned downtime with—of course—a good Netflix binge.
— Paty —
Patricia—MTTC's V.P & Mario’s wife of over 30 years— has been by his side through every
step of the journey. With a heart as steady as her support, Paty was the one who encouraged
Mario to take a chance on himself—playing a key role in helping him chase & ultimately achieve,
his version of the American Dream.
Whether she’s jumping in to help at the office, swinging by job sites to check on the crew
(with snacks in hand more often than not), or just making sure everything’s running smoothly,
Paty’s presence brings a warmth that reflects the very heart of MTTC:
family, hard work, & a deep love for helping our community grow.
Her constant involvement is a subtle reminder that MTTC is more than just a company—
we’re a family, truly zealous about honest, high-quality tree care,
& preserving our environments natural beauty.
